Lincolnshire Police investigation launched after thieves break and steal car parts at Taylors Vauxhall in Butterwick




Reports of stolen car parts from a dealership have prompted police to launch an investigation.

Officers received a call at 7.43am that parts of vehicles from Taylors Vauxhall in Butterwick, near Boston, had been damaged and stolen.

It is believed that the incident happened last night between 9.30pm and 11pm.

The dealership took to social media this morning to break the news to its customers and said: “We’re gutted to announce that, overnight, our forecourt was targeted by thieves who have damaged a number of our demos to remove parts.

“We are doing our best to operate as normal today, but we’d like to apologise in advance for any disruption to our services.”

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area yesterday evening is being urged by the business to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 0057 of 18/10/24.
