Men in Boston arrested on suspicion of cooking oil theft including from Spalding fish and chip shop




Two men have been arrested on suspicion of theft after used cooking oil was stolen.

Suspicions were raised about Yanko Mihaylov, 35, and Aleksandar Petrov, 39, who were with a Ford Transit van in Queen Street, Boston just before 4am yesterday (Wednesday, February 14).

Police looked inside and found large quantities of used cooking oil. Some of the oil has been stolen from a fish and chip shop in Spalding.

Both men, who live at Myddleton Road, Wood Green, London, were arrested and charged with theft.

Both have been remanded in custody while investigations continue.

Police would like to know where rest of the oil has been stolen from.
