Builders’ merchant Jewson Bourne, South Road, closed permanently with customers directed to Stamford, Spalding and Grantham branches

A builders’ merchants has closed its doors in town.

Jewson has recently closed its Bourne branch, on South Road.

The chain, which sells and loans building materials, equipment, supplies, tools and timber, has directed customers to other nearby stores which remain in operation.

The nearest branches are the branch at Stamford, 8.1 miles from Bourne, which offers bespoke paint mixing, tool hire branch Spalding, 10.6 miles from Bourne, and the Grantham Wharf Road specialist landscaping centre, 14.8 miles from Bourne.

Jewson has been approached for comment.
