Tesco Express and Esso petrol station in Bourne to close for forecourt upgrade

A town petrol station and Tesco Express store is to close for a ‘few months’ for refurbishment.

The Esso petrol filling station in North Road, Bourne, which has a branch of Tesco Express, is expected to be closed from Sunday (March 9).

“Our Bourne Esso Express store will be closed for the next few months while Esso are updating their forecourt,” said a Tesco spokesperson.

“We apologise for the inconvenience.”

An exact timesacle of how long the work will take has yet to be confirmed.

The Tesco Superstore in Cherry Holt Road, Bourne, will be open as usual.

Esso has been contacted for comment.
