Grantham mortgage broker offers discount for emergency service and care home workers ‘to give back’

A “community-driven” mortgage broker is offering discounts to care home and emergency service workers.

Jonathan Saint, 34, is the director of Mortgages Designed by Jonathan Saint LTD, based in Grantham.

He launched the company in March 2022 and says that he wants to “bring back the personal and human touch” to the industry.

Jonathan hopes to do this by offering discounts to care home workers and blue light card holders.

He has been a mortgage broker for over 10 years (16 years in total in financial services) in roles working for large banks and regional building societies.

Jonathan said: “The reason I started my own company was to do things differently and bring back the personal and human touch which is unfortunately missing from others in the market place.

“I am very much community driven and I am a big advocate of helping others including local charities within Grantham, for example the Beehive community centre which is a men’s mental health charity – this is something I am very passionate about!”

“I decided to bring in the discount on my professional broker fee for Grantham based blue light card holders and those who work within our care homes because I started out in business to also give back and I’m now in a position where I can do that.”

Blue light card holders in Grantham and workers at care homes within the town receive 25 per cent off his professional broker fee, while those from outside the area receive 15 per cent off.
