Entrance to Grantham town centre car park will close for two weeks to allow for development work




The entrance to a town centre car park will be closed for two weeks to allow for development work.

South Kesteven District Council has confirmed that the normal entrance to Watergate car park will be closed from November 13 to 27.

The exit from the car park on to Swinegate will temporarily become the entrance and exit during this period.

Watergate car park entrance will close later this month with the Swinegate exit to be used as a temporary entrance.

A council spokesperson said that drivers will be advised by signs on site.

Earlier this year, the council approved plans to build 20 sheltered housing flats next to Watergate car park on Swinegate.
