Eden House Hotel in Grantham is ready to show off changes
With a new name, look, restaurant and bars, the Eden House Hotel is all set for its official launch on April 2.
The 21-bedroom hotel on North Parade, formerly known as The Kings Hotel, has undergone extensive refurbishment since it was bought by Chris and Theresa Duggan in September.
The couple, who have run the Eden Wine Bar and Restaurant in the Market Place for nine years, have been busy redecorating and rebranding, in order to completely transform the business in just six months.
This includes the creation of a brand new Brasserie restaurant, which will serve classic French and British cuisine, and two additional bars.
Chris said: “We have rebranded as a boutique, stylish hotel which will offer the community great bars and restaurants, and families and individual guests a great place to stay.”
The £150,000 renovations have also seen the hotel’s reception, kitchen and function rooms all modernised. Upstairs, 14 of the 21 bedrooms have been refurbished, with the remainder to be transformed too within the next three months.
At the relaunch event starting at 3pm on Thursday, April 2, the public are invited to come to a drinks and nibbles reception and see the changes for themselves. You will also have the opportunity to speak to the management team.
Then from 7pm there will be live music, snacks, and both bars will be open. The hotel will also be holding regular music nights on a Thursday.
Chris added: “The Kings Hotel previously had a great reputation, but we are now building on this at the Eden.”
