New chapter for Grantham Journal
The Grantham Journal is about to start its next chapter. The Journal has been serving the local community since 1854, and that’s not going to change.
However, the world has changed and we need to adapt. These days, more and more of our readers and advertisers interact with us online. Working patterns and customer expectations have also changed.
Our editorial and advertising teams need to be increasingly flexible, and not stuck in one office location. Very few people now visit our office, preferring to contact us whenever they need to, by other means.
That’s why we have decided to close the Journal’s office in Watergate in the coming weeks.
We will still publish the Journal in print every Friday and we will still cover news on our website as it happens. Our app, with its page-turning newspaper edition, gives digital subscribers the best of both worlds.
Our reporters will still be at the heart of the community, covering the things that matter most to our readers and advertisers.
Thank you for your continuing support as we embark on the next stage of the Journal’s journey.
