Harlem Globetrotter and world’s tallest basketball player visits Grantham school
Belton Lane Primary School received a visit from the world’s tallest professional basketball athlete and Harlem Globetrotter, Paul ‘Tiny’ Sturgess.
Paul, who is taking a break from touring with the world famous Globetrotters, visited the school to talk about the dedication needed to become a professional athlete.
Paul, an Englishman who is the tallest player to ever play for the Globetrotters, also gave advice to the school’s basketball team who have only lost one game all season.
Headteacher Mr Mason said: “Paul was an inspiration to all of the children.”
