Memory Lane: Do you remember when Harrison's was on the corner of Finkin Street?

Terry Shelbourne continues to provide us with some wonderful old photos, and here’s the latest, of printers W.G. Harrison’s former stationery store on the corner of Finkin Street.

The company has been part of Grantham for over 100 years, having first opened in the old Needham Brothers’ Stationers on Elmer Street South in 1913. When Harrison’s moved to Finkin Street in the 1960s, Terry was on hand to paint their signage.

Today, Harrison’s are still in town providing their printing services from their base in Turnpike Close.

Terry also did the pictorial sign on The George Hotel seen on the right of the photo.
