New beauty and wellness business opens on Grantham High Street
A new beauty and wellness business, which has "the population in mind", has opened on the Grantham High Street.
Roxie’s Beauty and Wellness opened on Saturday, September 10, and offers beauty and health products and pain management, in addition to a gym downstairs.
Owner Roxie De La Motta said: "I sell cosmetics and organic products, products that are mainly geared towards health and pain management.
"People feel good when they look great on the outside so to me these are sort of intertwined.
"If you want to feel great, you can try to do something about it.
“Pain management is very important especially with what’s happening with the NHS. Some people are waiting a long time for surgery. Due to the long wait, they may be in pain and have to manage their pain.
"Whether it’s your knee, elbow, wrists or ankle, I sell supports for your joints and waist.”
Roxie added: "With other conventional gyms you need contracts and people pay by direct debit, but with my gym you pay as you go.
“Some may start off with a New Year’s resolution and end up paying monthly but not use the gym for months.
"My gym makes your workouts more manageable and affordable because you only pay when you use the gym.
"You can workout with your family and friends. It can accommodate up to four or five people at a time so it’s a lovely, cozy gym."
"The gym has all the equipment that you need and keeping the ageing population and people with back issues in mind, rather than a gym ball, I have a similar device which is a seat, it rocks and allows the user to get off more easily."
Roxie's gym is pay as you go and costs £4 an hour.
As Roxie was previously a health, safety and environmental manager, she also offers small businesses her previous expertise by providing them with health and safety documentation including compliance documentation with regards to health and safety.
All of its products will be available online at roxiesbeautyandwellness.co.uk, when the website has been launched.
Roxie's Beauty and Wellness is offering two one hour gym sessions for free as a taster.
