Man, 70, dies following major collision with motorbike on A46 near Witham St Hughs between Lincoln and Newark

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man has died following a serious crash.

Emergency services were called to the A46 near Witham St Hughs yesterday afternoon (April 20).

A man in his 70s from Nottingham has died following what police have described as a single vehicle collision involving a motorbike. It was one of two fatal collisions on the county’s roads on Easter Sunday — after a man died in a crash on the A16 at Holbeach.
