St Peter and St Paul Church in Uppingham to host wedding exhibition

Wedding dresses from times gone by will be on display in a church.

St Peter and St Paul Church in Uppingham will host a wedding weekend, described by organisers as filled with nostalgia and glamour, on August 24 and 25.

There will be more than 20 wedding dresses from through the ages on display.

The event will be open on the Saturday from 10am to 5pm, with a vow renewal service at 5.30pm, and the Sunday from 12.30pm to 5pm.

Cakes, tea and refreshments will be on sale both days.

Admission is £5 and children free.
