Braunston May Fayre takes place on Monday, May 5
A village community is gearing up for a day of fun and fundraising.
Braunston May Fayre will offer its usual array of entertainment on bank holiday Monday.
Money raised will be split between the church, the village hall and Riding for the Disabled.
Volunteer Kit Ellis said: “We've got activities suitable for the whole family, from fairground rides and games on the green to live music, duck racing in the river and a craft market in the church.”
Market stalls will line the streets, refreshments will be sold in the village hall and local children will put on another show-stopping performance around the maypole.
The event takes place on Monday, May 5 from 10am until 4pm around the streets of Braunston. Parking will be available at the edge of the village in Brooke Road costing £2 for the day. Free disabled parking will be located at Hanbury Gardens along Church Street.
