Lincolnshire Police appeal for witnesses to crash on Roman Bank in Ingoldmells near Butlins

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash involving a people carrier and a pedestrian.

Officers say a collision took place between a silver Renault and a person in Roman Bank in Ingoldmells — near Butlins — between 1.30am and 1.40am on Sunday (March 23).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “If you were in or around that area on that date, please check dashcam or mobile phone footage in the 15 minutes leading up to the collision to see if you may have captured footage of either a silver Renault people carrier, or a group of four people walking along the route.

“The Renault may have been travelling from the Skegness direction, and the pedestrians from the Ingoldmells.

“If you witnessed anything and we haven’t yet spoken to you, please also get in touch.

“This collision took place where there was an adult’s weekend running at nearby Butlins, and we believe there will have been people in the area who we have not yet spoken with, but who may have information which could help.”

Witnesses can email billy.spence@lincs.police.uk quoting Incident 35 of March 23 2025.
