Spalding's Bennetts Butchers has reopened after short closure

A popular butcher shop has reopened its doors following a two-week closure.

Staff at Bennetts Butchers, in Winsover Road, Spalding, welcomed back customers this morning.

The shop closed for a short period after a number of staff members had to self-isolate.

Owner Andrew Parsons, who is the fourth generation to run the store after it was founded by his great-grandfather Henry Bennett, has thanked people for their support.

He said:"We are really excited to be open again and we have turned the corner. Everyone has been really supportive including customers and suppliers."
