Calthrops solicitors in Spalding: Building goes up for sale but business not affected
The building that houses Calthrops solicitors, in Market Place, Spalding, is up for sale.
But the business itself is not moving.
The Grade II listed property is advertised on Internet site Rightmove and is being marketed by agents Bruce Mather Limited at a guide price of £525,000.
Partner at Calthrops in Spalding, Craig Delaney, said: “I can confirm that it’s business as usual for us here at Calthrops.
“The owners of the building are now all retired from the partnership and therefore wish to realise their interest in the building as part of their retirement plans.”
Calthrops Solicitors LLP was established over 155 years ago and is believed to be the oldest established law firm in the town.
“I can confirm that it’s business as usual for us here at Calthrops."
Nearby occupiers to the building include New Look, HSBC, Nationwide, WH Smith, Costa Coffee, Peacocks and Beales.
The building has four storeys and a private car park directly behind the building.
