Holbeach Christmas Fayre brought out the community
The community came together to mark the start of the festive season during a successful Christmas Fayre.
Stalls lined Holbeach’s High Street as families wandered around to make a start with their festive shopping along with enjoy the antics of a number of entertainers.
Mirror Man and stilt walkers were also part of the fun, which culminated in the arrival of Father Christmas.
The event was organised by Holbeach Parish Council.
A statement for the council said: “Holbeach Parish Council is delighted to announce that our Christmas Fayre was a spectacular success. The event brought together the community in a festive atmosphere that was enjoyed by all ages.
“Local stall holders and shops reported excellent sales throughout the day, contributing to the vibrant and bustling environment. The festive spirit was palpable, with our entertainers delivering outstanding performances that captivated the audience.
“A special highlight of the day was Santa Claus, who delighted the children with free gifts, making their visit truly memorable. At 15pm the winner of our Christmas card competition had the proud job of switching on the Christmas tree lights.
“Holbeach Parish Council would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a perfect day for the community. We look forward to continuing this tradition and getting bigger and better and creating more wonderful memories in the years to come.”
