Spalding and Holbeach churches to hold Requiem Masses for Pope Francis

People will be honouring the late Pope Francis with a number of services in the coming days.

The Immaculate Conception & St. Norbert Catholic Church, Spalding, will be paying tribute to Pope Francis, who passed away earlier this week.

The church, which is based in St Thomas’ Road, will be holding Requiem Masses for the pope tomorrow (Friday) at 7pm and on Sunday at 11am.

A service will also be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Foxes Low Road, Holbeach, on Sunday at 9am.

People are also welcome to sign a Book of Condolence in the Spalding church.

Tribute was paid earlier this week to Pope Francis by Fr Jim Burke, of the Spalding Church, who said he would be remembered as ‘a great Pope.’
