South Holland District Council announce that Spring into Spalding will return in March

Organisers of a spring event which is hoped to bring more visitors into Spalding have announced the date.

South Holland District Council’s Communities Team received £6,000 in the latest round of UK Shared Prosperity and Rural Prosperity funding which was announced last month.

The team has announced that the one-day event will be taking place on Saturday, March 30, when a host of free activities and entertainment will be taking place.

This project is an expansion of the same event that was held in 2022 and was hugely successful

In a social media post, the communities team states: “We are so excited to announce our Spring into Spalding event will be returning in 2024 thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.”

The team’s Christmas event earlier this year also proved to be popular bringing large crowds into the town to support the Christmas market and light-switch on.
