Date revealed for reopening of Spalding McDonald’s branch

A McDonald’s branch will finally reopen on Monday — after a near-six week revamp.
The Holbeach Road outlet in Spalding shut five weeks ago today, on Wednesday October 16, for refurbishment work — and is set to open again with its new look on November 25.
The fast food chain received planning permission for a series of changes to the site — including improvements to the drive-thru, car park and entrance way.
Bosses promised that the work will ‘improve the experience of both customers and the restaurant team’.
Some residents have complained that the recent upgrade to the nearby A151/A16 roundabout did not include improvements to pedestrian access to the McDonald’s branch.
