South Lincs Foodservice put on glorious food show at Springfields Events and Conference Centre, Spalding

A yummy time was had by all who attended a food and drink event sampling breads, pastries, ice creams and more.

South Lincs Foodservice, which has bases in Sutterton and Boston, organised The Food Show at Springfields Events and Conference Centre in Spalding with some 250 visitors attending.

Returning for the first time after five years, the event was designed to be ‘more than your average trade show’ with traders from Belvoir, Panesco Breads, Paramount, Eatons Patisserie and Lutosa showcasing their products.

Simon Davison, managing director of South Lincs Foodservice, said: “This event offered a rare opportunity for our customers to meet directly with lots of our suppliers in one day, to try out the products for themselves, have meaningful conversations with the product-experts and gain lots of new ideas and insights to help push their businesses forward.

“We were really pleased with the footfall and the atmosphere, and several suppliers have fed back that the customers seemed really engaged and impressed with the variety and quality of the products showcased, which is exactly what we wanted to achieve.

“It is such a tough industry for our operators right now, so anything we can do to help our customers problem solve or find new products that really work for them is incredibly valuable to their success and ours, as we aim to deliver everything that our customers need.”
