Spalding And District Young Farmers club takes festive tractor convoy through Pinchbeck, West Pinchbeck, Pode Hole, Weston Hills and Moulton Chapel
A parade of almost 100 tractors took part in a festive convoy – and raised valuable funds for three good causes.
The Spalding And District Young Farmers took to the roads of South Holland on Sunday, with Christmas decorations adorning their vehicles for the event.
The convoy was led by club president James Needham and his family.
Leaving Decoy Farm in Cowbit it proceeded through Weston Hills, Moulton Chapel, Whaplode St Catherine, Holbeach and Whaplode before stopping mid way at The Swan in Moulton.

South Holland District Council chairman Andrew Woolf announced the best decorated tractor winner as one from Worth Farms - driven by employee and club member Peter Bowd with his partner Imogen.
As a prize they received a newly introduced shield and a gift hamper from Duckworths of Kirton.
The convoy continued from the pub to Weston, Spalding, Pinchbeck, West Pinchbeck, Pode Hole and lastly Cowbit, returning to Decoy Farm for a barbecue organised by club vice president Hendrina Tibbs.
Michael Sullivan from Spalding YFC said: “We had almost 100 vehicles take part including mainly tractors but also a few lorries and a sprayer.
“The club would like to thank RN Fletcher and Sons for the use of their yard, sponsors NFU and AH Worth for supporting the event and Duckworths Jaguar Landrover of Kirton for helping to escort the sleigh, piloted by former club member Phillip Rouston, of JWE Banks Farms.
“The event was very well supported by the local community for which we are very grateful and so far we have raised £2,488 although our just giving page will be live until Sunday, December 17.”
The funds raised will be split between the Lincolshire and Notts Air Ambulance, Lincolnshire Rural Support Network and Spalding and District Young Farmers club.
