Walk-in appointments are available at Spalding's Springfields Events and Exhibition Centre

People who have not received their vaccination will be able to get their jab in a special walk-in clinic in Spalding today.

Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group is inviting people who have not received their vaccination to pop along to Springfields Event and Conference Centre until 8pm tonight.

Shoppers will also be able to 'grab-a-jab' at Spalding's Hall Place tomorrow (Saturday) between noon and 3pm.

Deputy Chief Nurse Rebecca Neno, who comes from the Spalding area, said the aim of the clinics is to encourage people who have not yet had their vaccination to come forward.

She said: "We've only just started to vaccinate today but the response has been good. We have had a mixture of people of different age ranges.

"What we are hoping is that by going out into the community it will encourage people to come and have their vaccination.

"Please come forward for your vaccination as this is the way to protect you and your family."
