Alfies Ice Cream and Tuck Shop moves premises on New Road Spalding

An ice cream and burger shop owner has moved premises.

Ravi Ahluwalia has been running Alfies Ice Cream and Tuck Shop in New Road, Spalding, for some time but took the the decision a few weeks ago to move into new premises further along the street.

He said: “I want to tap into the morning trade more.

“The shop is closer to the town centre now and the kitchen has a better layout.”

Mr Ahluwalia adapted his business so he can sell ice-creams in the summer and continue with hot food in the winter.

He added: “I like chatting to everyone.

“It has not been a good time for most businesses.

“Now I am nearer the college and other shops.”

Current opening hours are 12pm-9pm.
