Since the last district election in 2019 the world we live in has changed dramatically. The outbreak of Covid-19 not only caused wide spread suffering but also saw the growth of communities and initiatives to help those most in need.

Today, the struggles continue with people worrying about how to feed their families and keep their homes warm, with the future continuing to look uncertain.

It is times like these where we need communities to pull together to support one another, this is at the heart of the South Holland Independents ethos to work for and on behalf of the communities they live in.

The members of the South Holland Independents aren’t driven by national politics and are solely working on behalf of the electorate.

We are keen to see the growth of our area, ensuring that all have access to improved leisure facilities and green spaces. Wanting to ensure a safe area for all and a return of more vibrant town centres.

Our current councillors have over 190 years of experience between them and have seen Spalding change over the years. As a group of Independents we believe politics has no place locally, the district council should be made up of councillors working for what the electorate wants. People before politics!

Like you, we have heard the empty promises over the years, promises that disappear after the election. The South Holland Independents do not want to give empty promises, what we promise we will deliver before the end of the four-year term. Our members are all free to represent their residents as they see fit. We come together when needed to achieve district wide goals.

If elected, the South Holland Independents will work together on opening our green spaces, improving our leisure facilities, getting tougher on ASB, improving our coastal facilities and restoring pride in South Holland.
