Curtains up at new dance studio in Spalding
Spalding School of Dance celebrated the opening of its new studios with a high-energy display by students in front of family and friends.
The dance night marked the official launch of CB studios in Rangell Gate,, Low Fulney, after a three-year building project.
Adam Patman, the studio’s co-owner along with his wife Claire, said: ”The guests really enjoyed the performances, while the dancers used the night as a final rehearsal for an upcoming competition in Norwich.
“But at the same time, the students essentially had a good time putting on their show.”

Guests at the opening included Coun Rodney Grocock, chairman of South Holland District Council, who was shown round the studios by Adam’s wife, Claire, who also runs Spalding School of Dance.
Adam said: “It was an extremely successful night which included a jumping competition to see which of the students could jump the highest.
“At our old building, we were restricted from doing this because of the low ceiling there.
“But now we have a new, multi-function studio with hireable space for all types of dance classes.”
