The covering letter for the application to South Holland District Council states: “I have today lodged via the planning portal the requisite forms, plans and supporting documents relating to an application for a certificate of lawful proposed use of unit 2 (formerly Carpetright) as a gym with unrestricted trading hours, i.e. no restriction on 24 hour opening if desired by the gym operator.”

Carpetright is currently open for business at its Westlode Avenue site.
