South Holland Police interview 3 people in connection with Spalding barn fire

Police are continuing to investigate a fire which damaged a town barn.

Firefighters were called to the Old Monkshouse Bulb Company building in Spalding just after 5pm on March 30.

Emergency services blocked Monkshouse Lane to allow four crews to tackle the significant fire by using an aerial ladder platform.

Police officers have been looking into the incident.

A force spokesman said: “We can confirm we have interviewed three people in relation to a fire at Monkshouse Lane in Spalding at the end of March. Investigations are ongoing alongside other partners as we piece together the events that led to the blaze.”
