Lincolnshire Police investigate meat theft from Long Sutton store

Police are investigating after meat was stolen from a town supermarket.

Thieves are reported to have raided the Co-Op in Long Sutton on April 2.

A force spokesman confirmed that investigations are currently on-going.

We did approach The Co-op for comment.

A spokesman said: “We reported an incident of shop theft at our Long Sutton Food Store to the police. The investigation is ongoing, so we’re unable to confirm which items were taken.”
