Owner of Darjeeling Indian Restaurant in Whaplode refurbishes premises and offers new Alfi fish and chips delivery service
A prominent village restaurant has undergone a refurbishment – and added a food delivery service to its offering.
Restaurant owner Mohammed Khan has spruced up his premises at the Darjeeling Indian Restaurant and Takeaway, off the A151 in Whaplode, and now offers a fish and chip takeaway too.
He has run the restaurant for three years and has launched Alfi fish and chips as a new option for customers in the village and surrounding area.
Mr Khan said: “Customers can order them and eat in or for collection and delivery.
“People’s favourite choices are fish cakes and fish and chips.
“We serve South Indian dishes and favourites are chicken korma.”
