NHS-quality PPE supplier Ubitrac is opening a pop-up store on Monday with a complete range of PPE and together with Springfields is subsidising the cost to the public up to 30% off the normal price. All stock is surplus to NHS needs.
Tony Foote, Ubitrac-PPE managing director, said: “Springfields and its superb local customer-base is perfect for us. We have been looking after NHS Community Nurses Trusts since 2016 with lone worker protection PPE.
"The decision to move into providing protective masks to the public was only taken after it became clear that there were ample supplies for the NHS and private care sectors. We now provide high quality masks and other PPE.”
Springfields marketing manager Faith Horne said: “The support and friendship we have received from our customers has been amazing. We live in and around Spalding and it’s really helped. There’s a strong unity of spirit and we’ve all pulled together as one team.”
