County recognition for Spalding shopping and leisure site with nomination for 2019 Lincolnshire Tourism Excellence Awards
Springfields Outlet Shopping and Leisure, Spalding, has been nominated for a countywide award.
The out-of-town retail and visitor complex has been shortlisted by a panel of judges in the Visitor Attraction of the Year category for this year's Lincolnshire Tourism Excellence Awards.
Lincoln Cathedral, the International Bomber Command Centre, near Lincoln, and Rand Farm Park, near Market Rasen, are the other finalists.
The winner will be announced at a special ceremony in Lincoln on March 12.
Simon Stone, retail Director of Springfields Outlet Shopping and Leisure, said: "It really is an honour to have been shortlisted for these prestigious awards
"Springfields is unique because of the special combination of shopping, dining and leisure which provides an attractive destination for people of all ages.
"Visitor Attraction of the Year is one of the awards open to an online public vote and we would be really grateful if Springfields visitors would consider taking the time to vote for us.
"We are proud to be part of what makes Lincolnshire a fantastic place to visit."
In 2018 Springfields welcomed new stores White Stuff, Joules and Jack Wills, plus the new Springfields Adventure Land site that opened in the summer.
