Tickets on sale for vintage fashion show in Donington

Tickets are on sale for a vintage fashion show which will be taking place in a village church.

Antoinette Young will be celebrating fashions from the 40s through to the 80s in Donington’s St Mary and the Holy Rood Church on Friday, May 2.

The Antoinette Vintage Fashion show will coincide with the church’s flower festival, which will be following a 60s theme when it runs from Saturday, May 3, to Sunday, May 11.

A total of 15 models - including some men - will be wearing clothing from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s when they strut their stuff around the historic building.

Antoinette, who runs Antoinette's Vintage in Donington’s Market Place, is hoping to highlight the fantastic fashions from the ages.

She said: “I think it will be interesting for people to come and have a look.”
