Two vehicle crash on A16 at Cowbit

Two vehicles were involved in a collision on the A16 this afternoon (Thursday).

The incident is said to have occurred near Cowbit shortly before 2pm — with the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance thought to have been called to the scene.

Lincolnshire Police said the crash was being treated as a ‘damage only collision’ involving two vehicles and that no serious injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The ambucopter passed back over Spalding on its way back to its base in Lincoln at about 2.30pm.
