2nd Pinchbeck Scout Group pay a visit to Lambs Flowers in bid to inspire the next generation of horticulturists
Youngsters enjoyed a visit to a horticultural nursery.
Members of 2nd Pinchbeck Scout Group were recently welcomed to Lambs Flowers in Herdgate Lane, Pinchbeck.
Staff at the firm were hoping to raise awareness of horticulture and flower growing to youngsters.
Laura Tebby is a member of the Lambs Flowers team and a parent helper with the scout group.
She said: “They all had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
“Rob Tivey, the operations manager, and David Williams did a fabulous job of inspiring the next generation of horticulturists. With Lincolnshire being the heart of UK flower growing it is so important to keep the next generation inspired in the industry and so many of this children were unaware that this area is famous for growing flowers.”
