Wellbeing event held in Bourne for first time after the pandemic

Visitors to a wellbeing event were taken on a journey of discovery.

Meditation, reflexology, hypnotherapy and even tarot reading were on the cards at Bourne Wellbeing Event at the Old Town Hall in North Street on Saturday (June 11).

Nicole Woodcock, event organiser and owner of Hummingbird Hypnotherapy, said: “The day went really well. We had some great feedback and people were reconnecting after covid.”

A series of workshops and taster sessions introduced people to techniques geared towards improving wellbeing, while there were 21 stalls offering a range of jewellery, crystals and refreshments.

Nicole added: “People seemed to really enjoy themselves and there was something to benefit everyone.”

It was the first time the event has been held at Old Town Hall and £831 was raised for the Old Town Hall Trust’s renovation project, which is turning the former council rooms and magistrates’ court into an arts and entertainment centre for the community.
