A bike brand has opened a new store on the south shore at Rutland Water.

Specialized Bikes acquired the Rutland Cycling bicycle retail chain and its 12 stores, which included several Giant specialist dealerships, in the summer.

Open seven days a week, it has two floors of Specialized bikes, including road, mountain, hybrid, electric and children's bikes, as well as clothing, accessories, and parts.

There is also an accredited workshop offering servicing, repairs, and upgrades for all types of bikes and brands, and a Retül bike fit studio featuring 3D motion capture technology to help all riders decide the best bespoke bike for them.

The cycle hire centre is also open every day, all year round.
