Lots going on at growing auction rooms in Little Bytham
An auctioneer who opened in Little Bytham just five months ago says the business is going from strength to strength.
Jessica Wall, pictured above, set up J W Auctioneers & Valuers at the Stamford Auction Rooms, in Station Road Industrial Estate, in January.
She says that since then she has attracted a loyal local following as well as having hundreds of bidders online across the world at her monthly Saturday sales.
The business sells items ranging from the very modern and retro to antiques and artefacts.
She said: “There is something for everyone, whatever your budget, taste and style.”
All items lots are viewable before the sale in the catalogue online or by attending the viewing which is on the Thursday and Friday before the auction at the saleroom.
The last sale saw some incredible prices. A 19th century brass skeleton clock with an estimate of £300-£500 reached £1,300. A set of prints by John Piper each sold for more than £500.
