Festive lights trail Christmas at Belton near Grantham will go ahead but later than planned

A Christmas event which was hanging in the balance when 'lockdown two' began, will go ahead.

Christmas at Belton – an illuminated festive light trail which held its debut at Belton House, near Grantham, last year – has been pushed back to start on December 4, instead of the original date of November 27.

Anyone who had already booked to visit between November 27 and December 3 should have received an email from organisers.

Described as a "magical, after-dark, illuminated trail", the mile-long trail features illuminated trees and sculptures and festive music.
