New care home Aspen Manor opens in Oakham after £13.5m investment by Alysia Caring




A new care home has opened its doors in Oakham.

Aspen Manor, owned by Alysia Caring, opened its doors last month and was officially opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland Dr Sarah Furness.

Operations director for Alysia Caring, Sunita Warner, said the project represented a £13.5m investment and once full, about 120 jobs will have been created by the home, which has capacity for 78 residents.

During the opening, Sunita signed the Armed Forces Covenant as staff at the home will be working to support veterans and their families.
