Lanes Fine Jewellery to open in Stamford
A new jewellers is set to shine in a town centre.
Carli Onguc, with her husband Ercan, will be opening Lanes Fine Jewellery in Red Lion Square, Stamford where Clarks shoes was.
The couple has had a store in Leicester close to home for about 10 years but have always loved Stamford.
Carli said: “Stamford is such a thriving town and we have been waiting a while for the perfect property to come up.
“We love this one and when we viewed it, we knew it was the one.
“It has fantastic big windows for a jewellery shop to showcase items.”
The firm specialises in diamonds and precious stones, with a wide range of wedding and engagement rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
In the future to be able to offer a bigger watch collection.
The shop should be opening towards the end of October.
To celebrate the store opening, Carli and Ercan will host a launch party for people to attend.
They offer bespoke engagement rings and help to design something exclusive to the customer.
The couple also buys pre-owned jewellery from customers and resell it.
Lanes Fine Jewellery has sponsored Leicester City Football Club since 2014.
