New governors needed at Oakham CE Primary School
Two new governors are needed at Oakham CE Primary School.
The role involves attending meetings at the school in Burley Road, Oakham, and providing a link between the school and the rest of the community.
Tor Clark, a former vice-chair of governors at the school, who sits as a co-opted community governor, said: “This is a great role for someone who wants to play a role in the life of the school. The rewards of working to help improve the education of our children are very high but the time commitment is small.
“Ours is a very positive and friendly school with an excellent team of staff and governors, who make new arrivals very welcome.”
