Police warning after scam calls about internet speeds
Police are warning people about scam telephone calls from fraudsters posing as BT Openreach and asking customers about low internet speeds.
The receiver of the call became suspicious and ended the conversation immediately before reporting it to Action Fraud.
Computer firms do not make unsolicited phone calls to help you fix your computer and you should not give out any personal information.
In addition, avoid opening emails if you are ever in doubt about security software updates.
