Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood to move into the Stamford area

A showbiz star is set to upsize and move into a seven-bedroom home in the Stamford area.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood will be swapping his luxury Hampshire home for a property "in Stamford, near Rutland Water", according to a report in The Times.

Craig's current home, Middlecot Manor near Quarley, is currently on the market with Savills for £2.75 million and has reportedly already seen a flurry of interest.

Speaking to The Times about the new property Craig said: “It’s really lovely. Seven bedrooms, bigger pool... I’m upsizing.”

Parts of the property date from 1867.

Craig and his partner have already booked the local church for an August 2023 wedding and has had the garden measured for a marquee for 250 people.

He said: “A bit presumptuous because we haven’t actually bought the house yet... but if you stop dreaming it won’t happen.”

The move to Stamford has been inspired by his partner Jonathan Myring, 36, who has family in Leicester. The couple have been together since 2018.

Last month it was announced that Craig would continue as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing 2021 alongside Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse. They will be joined by Strictly's longest serving professional dancer Anton Du Beke who completed a two-week stint as a judge in 2020.
