Stamford Argos branch to move into Sainsbury's next month

Stamford's branch of the catalogue retailer Argos will move into a town supermarket next month.

The store, which had been due to relocate in May, is scheduled to open inside Stamford Sainsbury’s on October 14.

It was announced in December that the Argos store in Markham Retail Park in Ryhall Road was to close and instead become a concession based in-store at Sainsbury's.

Sainsbury's has owned Argos since September 2016 when Home Retail Group agreed to be taken over for £1.4bn.
