A village pub that reopened under new ownership is to hold its first beer festival on the May bank holiday weekend.

The Fox in North Luffenham will offer a dozen ales from local breweries, giving customers a chance to set their taste buds alight from Friday, May 1, to Monday, May 4. Ales start at 3.5 per cent and rise to a distinguished 7.4 per cent for the brave-hearted. The pub has also added Oakham Ales’ new craft beer Green Devil to the pumpps.

On Sunday afternoon there will be a barbecue on the patio and live music from Nick Haylock.
