YouTuber Colin Furze creates trebuchet in Stamford

A YouTube sensation has created a modern day trebuchet inspired by a video game.

Colin Furze, who lives in Stamford, spent two weeks creating a slingshot which towered 14 metres above the ground in his latest video.

Colin used the trebuchet in an attempt to launch a variety of items into the air including a car, a TV and a washing machine.

“People passing by had seen things and on Facebook people had taken pictures while driving down the road,” said Colin.

“I like things like that when people spy stuff.”
