Northants Bowling Federation are victorious in the Eversley Trophy
Northants Bowling Federation completed a hat-trick of wins in the Eversley Trophy - for county executives - at Lincoln IBC on Sunday.
NBF chairman Martyn Dolby played with Andy Cox and Graham Agger while Simon Law combined with Ally McNaughton and Bob Warters.
Playing in a double rink format, scoring points for overall shots and winning rinks, they amassed 19 points, the same as North Cambs but with a better shots difference (22-15).
In the last game they needed maximum points against Humberside and achieved it thanks to a tight measure for second shot on Dolby's rink.
Other counties participating were Lincolnshire, Huntingdonshire, Derbyshire and Norfolk.
Dolby is one of several local players competing in the English Bowling Federation finals which start at Lincoln on Tuesday (April 22-27) when he defends the senior singles.
Olly Jeapes aims to win the Under 25 title again.
