Stamford Town Cricket Club's Under 13s team have received a sponsorship boost.

And their sponsors, who are building new homes on Uffington Road in Stamford, are keen to support the communities where they build and have sponsored the club for a two-year period.

Club chairman Phil Holland said: "I would like to personally thank everyone at Linden Homes and Vistry for their generous support.

"Their contribution significantly impacts our young players, enhancing their experience and boosting their team spirit."

The Under 13 team has had an impressive season so far in the Border County Cricket Association Lincolnshire League, winning all six of their games and remaining undefeated.

Andrew Handslip, director of sales and marketing at Vistry South East Midlands, said: "It's a great privilege to be able to sponsor Stamford Cricket Club.

"We're particularly excited to support the Under 13s team. They are having a fantastic season and we wish them all the luck for the rest of it."
